What is happening with the prices of '65 large beads, pointed five and the '85 pointed five?
They are listed at $40 for the '65 in MS62 condition and $50 for the '85 in MS64 in the Charlton 2013.

I have been tracking these coins on ebay auction for a few months and the 1965 has sold for $70 or more (including shipping) half of the time.

The 1985 has sold for over $50 one third of the time. I try to buy most of my ebay coins for 25% off of book value, including shipping. I am having trouble finding these two items AT book value, let alone below it.

Is this a little blip in the pricing or trend to the future? Why the price jump when many other items seem depressed?

Do not use Charlton's as a price guide for coins!
Even this; http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php ,is much more realistic.
Tracking them on ebay as you do is your best bet in the long run,if you have patience.

I actually like to use a blend of Charlton, Haxby, coinsandcanada, Trends, and J and M. No matter how you slice it, these two items are selling higher than indicated by anyone's estimates and I just wonder if anybody has any idea why.

No change to those prices in Charlton 2014.
