1998 Non-Mintmarked Pure Nickel Quarter?

DoubleEagle20 Pillar of the Community United States 1748 Posts	Posted 12/29/2013 01:19 am Charlton catalogue I have from 2010 shows a 1998 mintmarked "W" quarter was produced for mint sets and ALSO a non-mintmarked quarter as well. I wonder what set the non-mintmarked coin was in...any ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

DoubleEagle20 Pillar of the Community United States 1748 Posts	Posted 12/29/2013 02:04 am You are right, DBM. The PL sets came in two varieties that year. Ottawa had no mint mark and Winnipeg had the "W". Looks like the Ottawa set is $30 or so. I hate to cut up a set just for the quarter.
