I am not sure if it is a doubled die or not, your photos are not close enough for me to see. I am sure though that it is not an 008.

I think it's MD also. The left vertical bar of the W in WE is just too thin and MD takes away from the devices.

Definitely not 1DO-008. I added that to the files a few months ago. I agree with the others, Machine Doubling.
I have attributed a number of 1970 Lincoln DDOs, my best advise would be to look for notching and sometimes extra thickness. I went out of my way shooting that coin to emphasize the notching. MD is rampant on late '60s to early '70s coins...
