Finally finished a set of NGC PF69UCAM silver State Quarters and am 7 into the ATBs in the same grade. I still need the 6 territories too. Ended up with 10 duplicate State Quarters because of having to buy a few sets that contained ones I already had.

Only a little over half are in the edgeview holders, I will swap out the others as time goes on so the set eventually matches.

Also finished a set of modern silver proof dimes in PCGS PF69DCAM and am working on the quarters and halves.

I really like shiny new looking coins over worn, circulated ones and modern is the only way I can swing any. I fully intend to acquire every modern silver proof coin in NGC or PCGS PF69 or better from 92 to date. Already have most of them, just need the expensive ones.

Proof Eagles are another story, they're way too costly to acquire all at my age, will just have to be happy with a MS69 set.

This is not an easy undertaking, by any means. Congrats so far...and good luck in the future! :)

Thanks, the only hard part was shelling out the bucks, and getting to the mailbox before my wife.

I did get some fairly good prices, especially the ones that came in year sets. I figure any graded proof quarter I can get for less than $10 is a good deal.

I also amassed a good supply of raw silver state and territory quarters off ebay while they were selling relatively cheap, around $5 to $6. Don't see any that cheap lately.

That's a pretty difficult undertaking, congrats!

Many of the early years of the silver State Quarters are plagued by that white haze they got sitting in the mint packaging. I've seen a lot a shows with it. The clad proofs don't have the same problem. My 1999's still look as fresh as my 2013 ATB's
