I recently cherryppicked this coin and 1941 in Choice brilliant uncirculated cond.. from a local dealer. Who's been in business for over 3 decades. Who doesn't really care the varieties. Only Graded and certified.
I thought I should take a look at some key dates. then I saw the '41 shining backup at me. Then there was the '36 pretty much within a few inches gorgeous red. And lo and behold both seem doubled. As you see from pics and I hope you can confirm for me.
I'm pretty sure yes 41 is number 1 and 36 possibly number one. But not completely sure. since I've never seen a 36 in person help with my hand I'm not sure if the spread is enough on on the date. sure looks awfully close though. If not it.

es, thank you. I've used this site as a reference usually everyday. everyday. its a great tool. between copper coins and coins fax now PCGS both great for cross referencing. the issue is now that'm stil having trouble loading pictures up to the image optimizer. for I have had no idea what's the problem since there was no problem before. Trying to figure out hopefully real soon. Frustrating. Thanks
Maybe I need to try the new post from beginning see if that works

I see something. Unfortunately I don't think you are going to get an informed opinion with the resolution you have on your coin. I agree that it appears that something is there. What it is I can not say.

Jcuve, it does look exactly like those pics. I know that the latest PicS I posted r much better then before . Spread on the 1& 9 plus the 3 is just like the number one. And the 3 doesn't have as much spread as number 2 does. then there is the 6, it is perfect as the 6's and all the pics at coppercoins & coinfacts. I d check to cross check it over and over with xxxcherrypickers.
please I hope you take another look and closer look and that date and confirm this I'm sticking to my guns on this one. I apologize for my last reply I accidentally pressed reply before I finish

It doesn't look like DDO-001 or 002 from the pics. Have you checked 003? 001 in an uncirculated grade pops. It's a really a nice doubled die.

Looking at your close-up of your date, it does appear to resemble the one that jcuve posted.

I'm getting older and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be - but even zooming the page to 250%, I can't see doubling. Do you have a different camera? Are these the original size of the images or did you size them down?

I zoomed into the second whole coin shot and I don't see any of the characteristic doubling or diagnostics for DDOs 001, 002 or 003.
