Yeah. The owl with the tootsie pop is a good analogy...lol. Last couple of times at the bank I have asked for roll of quarters, probably keep doing that to increase the chances. I have such few left that I hafta increase the chances.

You are right on the Rushmore quarters. I have one with scratching on the face from a sorter or vending machine.

Congratulations, have you tried to work on the territories or ATB at all? I'm only missing 12 P mint marks on them.

Nice pocket change finds but I still think it's near to impossible to get them all just from change, at least not a set to be happy with.

Haven't tried the territories. The best I was able to do on ATB was one of each, except Hawaii Volcanoes. I relented and bought one at a coin show. Sadly, I don't get enough of the Territorial or ATB's to try by mint mark.
The mint is finally doing with the ATB's what they should have been doing since 1999. An affordable Mylar pack of circulation quarters by design from P & D mints for each year. I have 2010, 2011 and 2013. Just need to find a 2012.
What P mints are you missing?

For P mint marks I'm still missing, two each from 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, four missing from 2013 (I'm somewhat amazed that I found a Great Basin from 2013 with a P)

2009
American Samoa
Northern Mariana Islands

ATB

2010
Yellowstone
Mount Hood

2011
Glacier
Olympic

2012
Choco Culture
Hawaii Volcanoes (Tons of D all the time but never a P yet)

2013
White Mountain
Perry's Victory
Fort McHenry
Mount Rushmore

And that is mostly from CRH over the past 10 months. In 1999 I got a folder for the States and started filling out of pocket change. Last year I started getting back into the collection and started on CRH so I started filling, think it only took about 4 months to get all the states for P&D. Now it seems about every $300-$500 in quarters and I'm finding a hole filler. Another $10,000 and I might have all of them.

I just completed a cheap Warman's folder of State/Territories Quarters, one hole for each state. I may try to do the mint marks in the future. All from circulation (except NMI, see below), and it only took a couple months to put it together.

Finally did something I hate doing for modern coins...paying more than face value. I simply cannot find a Hawaii Volcanoes quarter, so I paid a buck at a coin show for a nice D mint one for the book. That means I'll get five or six of them in change next week...lol.
This is what happened to me with the 2009 NMI quarter. Had all the rest from circulation but never seemed to come across that one. So after I bought one, I saw about a half dozen of them at work right in a row.

I also have one of each of the ATB Quarters to date. I'm slowly working on the mint marks for this one, and have both mints for Rushmore, Perry's, White Mtn., Denali, and Hot Springs. The only one I've bought so far is Smoky Mountains (D), so those will probably turn up in circulation for me now as well! I'm just doing these in 2x2's for now in a binder, and will probably buy a P/D album soon.
