When I first looked at this quarter - I thought it had goop on it. After a closer look I see that it goes through the letters, looks as though part of it was shaved but with letters intact. Hope the different angles help.

Is this how you find out what is what with coins?

Hi JUST4FUN. Getting the photos right side up and not upside down nor sideways would also help. And good close ups too.

guess the scanner is not the answer! Will have to go buy a camera

I don't see much either but what I do see around the edge "if that is what you are seeing" it could be strike through or counting machine damage. but I cant see much more

Thank you - I need to figure out how to get close ups. I have a hp digital camera - can;t get it to focus in. Still playing with the camera.

I cleaned the coin and it must have been clear glue. cause it is gone.
