Hey, his is a cheapie. There's yet another at 2.5 times his asking price.

Of course, the less adventuresome can snag an UNC for less than 5 Pounds Sterling, international shipping included. But where's the fun in that?

Another Stellar Seller on ebay:

A seller named ibbookworm has a stunning variety of error coins. How do we know this? Every coin is listed with the complete listing title being "error" or "Error coin." Here's an example:

Fun-Thread---Worst-Coins-On-Ebay,-Etsy,-Craigslist,-And-Other-Buying-Sites!

The listing title is "error" and the complete description is "clip." Evidently "ibbookworm" isn't a bookworm when it comes to books about real error coins. )Ironically, the seller has one actual error coin, a 90% off center LMC with the helpful description "no date."

OK, another. I guess it's BOGO day at the ebay corral.

For only $100 plus shipping, you can buy a Nickel Double Denomination Error Coin Double Struck, Rare from a seller with no feedback and a no-return policy.

The seller's description does note that "It seems like it coated with clear material."

Ya think?

Fortcollins, yep. I absolutely hate these type of sellers on ebay. They're very annoying and stupid.

An "error" 1983-D Roosevelt. Only 99 cents. Much cheaper than other "error" coins on ebay.

To the seller's credit, he does say "error or damage".

Haha! That's hilarious! The seller can't tell the differences. Well, it's definitely a damaged coin. It's roadkill.

True, but it was actually more in response to what BStrauss3 said before me. I wonder if you are too young to remember The Church Lady.

I never heard of the "Church Lady" and I'm far from too young. Although I did watch "Night Court"

You both are such cards!

The Church Lady is classic! Plenty of clips on YouTube, so watch a handful after suffering these epic ebay coin fails. It will wash the images of rotten Zincolns and pock marked nickels from your minds.
