For some reason, I thought that the cert number on a slab would match the TrueView cert number.

Hondo Boguss, it's too bad that it's too expensive. 1999 seems to be a common year for Broadstrikes. I wouldn't pay more than 40 dollars for it. Very nice error coin, but that high price is ridiculous.

Errers, I've been on ebay since the '90s. They used to charge for listings. That policy should be reinstated - even a 1% listing fee would eliminate most of this garbage.

Coinfrog, I'd be happy to pay a listing fee if it was then subtracted from my seller's fee.

This one should be pulled. If it's not, someone is about to get a lesson in damage vs error. It has 29 bids and it's up to $79.65 + $4.90 shipping! No returns.

1984p DD Lincoln COOL ERROR! Double Denomination Dime Strike Through On Obverse!

This rare 1984 Lincoln Memorial penny is a must-have for collectors. It features some unique and cool errors, a double denomination dime strike through on the obverse side reading, Doubling on both sides as well as a die crack on the reverse right bottom of the Lincoln Memorial!!

This copper penny was minted in Philadelphia and is ungraded and uncertified. It has a brilliant red color and was circulated, making it a great addition to any collection. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this 1 of-a-kind multi-error coin.

Well, I reported it to ebay and sent the seller a message:

Quote:
Just a short note that I'm going to report you to ebay about this listing. It is NOT an error, somebody (maybe you?) just took another cent and pressed it against this one and transferred the reverse device elements to the obverse of this coin. Note how the letters are backwards. This is NOT an error and you are committing fraud when selling it as one.
It is this kind of sale that people like you give coin collecting a black eye. Shame on you.

Thanks for getting it pulled.

I'm not sure why, but that one really got under my skin.

The seller's description made me angry too. They tried to use as many buzz words as they could to make the coin seem legit, and it isn't a Brilliant Red copper penny, either.
