That one is either brilliant or straight stupid. In some distant future I'd like to start a mini colection of really bad designs. This one qualifies :)
India is, in my knowledge, quite mad with CC's.

I initially wanted to put together a type set of Indian coins, but they have a stupid number of commemoratives, almost to the extend that Canada does. It's also extremely depressing how many carry the theme "national unity" and "everyone please stop hating the untouchables and just get along".

Anyway, back on topic:

Yes, let me drop the price of a used car on a coin with a certificate saying "AUTHENTICITY UNVERIFIABLE"

PCGS 2014-D MS70 First Strike $1 Native American / Sacagawea Enhanced UNC Coin - $20,000 BIN
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PCGS-2014-D...142050606970

Now, one of these did sell at auction for $3,760 around 30 April 2016:
http://coins.ha.com/itm/sacagawea-d.../1234-8674.s

But $20,000?

Oh by the way, the seller has hidden the PCGS Certification Number.

Thought this was funny, not for the price, but for the fact that it's a "CERTIFIED" SGS coin. From a company that gave out MS70 on everything, you have to wonder what it would take to have it be labeled "CERTIFIED".

Oh darn, I couldn't check the SGS Certification Number so proudly displayed on the listing for that Walking Liberty half dollar, er, I mean that Walker Half Dollar.

The Star Grading Service domain name, stargrading[dot]org, is for sale. It's a shame that such a positive-minded TPG bit the dust.
