Toning will not affect the grade. It may prevent the coin from getting a plus, star, or CAC sticker. but it does not affect the grade.

I still don't like the ugly toning however.

How many problems can a coin have? Plugged, polished, rim filed and scratched? Try and find me a slabbed coin with more negative suffixes than this!

That Draped Bust Dollar has been through a lot.

Sadly, it's still out of my price range.

A Draped Bust Dollar in any condition would be a better buy than this:

Can anyone see the "error"?

Here's a good one - at least the price is right...

No date - PVC - and a hole that pulls out the rim of the coin!

I think you're right!

This stupid ebay legend about any British 2p with "New Pence" on it being really valuable has finally prompted me to put a Mint State 1981 2p on ebay with a starting price of 2p. I'll be really interested to see what it goes for - perhaps the guy with the specimen here on sale for £400 will offer me £300 for it!

Only one page later, there is this genuine error... with a less genuine price.

I think the quarter clip is real, but yeah, that price is a tad on the high side.

The cent? I'm speechless...
