Now if I do decide to break free Louis Braille Proof Dollar from the mint packaging....how hard would it be?

Regardless of the manuafacturer of the Album, it is all just a hobby so enjoy attempting to fill it. Quote: Do people start these albums knowing that the album will most likely never be completed? Sort of a funny thing to say since probably everyone that starts a hobby of anykind, thinks of the day when something is finally done. Usually it never happene. Even if you can fill all those slots, you'll start wondering if you should up grade the quality of the coins. Or start a similar but different set. So many vairiables to coin collecting that as a rule, seldom is it ever done. And if you look up coin supply places you would find such a massive variety of Albums and Folders, again, you would see it would never end. As an example look up the Whitman web site.

The 7070 has been one of the most enjoyable sets for me. I have it completed, with mostly AU and above coins, the expensive ones being XF, as well as several less expensive coins in XF. I am STILL upgrading, working on the less expensive XF coins as well as some of the AU coins.....the need to upgrade never ends, but it is one of the most attractive sets to peruse once completed.

Ok I'd love to see your set Johnny I am 60 holes out of 76 done and I have some nice coins with a good number of them being MS or BU but I also have VG's. When done I know I will likely spend a lot of time upgrading but I can't even imagine getting all the way to AU or better as there are quite a few coins that would be 4 figures at AU. My ultimate goal is VF or better.

Thanks for sharing....
One question, it does appear from your picture that 1837 Large Cent does not have a tight fight either in the 1816 to 1839 Coronet slot. Mine seems to be a bit loose but that could be because of the condition of that coin.

I think they oversized the slots because the earlier coronet large cents were bigger in diameter.
