Maybe VF. The surfaces look very corroded. I would guess this lived in the ground for some time.

very well could have. Price was not too bad so I do not think I will get hurt too bad on it.

It's at least a high VF but corroded.

if this coin had no corrosion at all it would be a 100 to 200 dollar coin. If coin is not too porous and rough I think it was an ok buy at 19.99

I think this was an awesome buy at the sale price!

I see very nice detail, with just a bit of environmental effect pitting. I'm not sure I know any CCFer who would not have jumped at a chance to have this coin at this price.

I agree with the EF40 grade. The reverse is quite strong. I think the seller is trying to hide something with these pics. The surfaces look quite porous and it may have been cleaned however for $20 not bad if it fills a hole

pics do suck. Seller is not a coin guy. I don't think you can tell how porous or not this coin is untill I see it in hand. Do not think seller was hiding anything.
