Oddities In 3 Loonies

After looking at one of my loonies, I found striking differences in 3 loonies - 2007, 2011, and 2012 - Trees, no trees, treetops? Does anyone know how these trees are really supposed to look?

1. 2007 - 1st tree treetop to right, 3 trees, treetop on last tree.

2. 2011 - 1st tree treetop to left, 4 trees, no treetop on last tree.

3. 2012 - 1st tree treetop to left, 3 trees, treetop on last tree.

They are the trees right beside the highest on the dollar coin. Are these new errors or varieties?
