There is extra metal around the "P" and extra metal in the "M" Also a possible die crack from "M" to the rim.

A small die flaw, with probably some rust on the die at this point. The small pits incuse in the die around the 'M' will give rise to these details in relief on the coin.

The field near the lettering makes me think that the coin flan at this point may have suffered some small lamination problems.
