I have a difficult one for my first post. I have been trying to identify this coin for ages. I am pretty sure it is of Greek origin and pretty darn old.

As far as I can make out it is a man sitting holding a palm branch. Unfortunately the other side is too worn to make much out, but there is a hint of lettering.

Any comments are helpful!

I really can't tell much from your pictures, I wish they were a little clearer. From what I can see it doesn't appear to be an ancient coin.
