Hey guys,
I've just gone through my possessions for coins. I found a few bell half dollars and random wheat pennies I stacked over the years. I would like to know their ~worth and learn as I start my for fun small collection. I've read quite a bit past couple of hours and I'm confused about misaligned and double die. What is an example of this 1980 Lincoln I just pulled from my jar? Does the "thick" right side nudged it up a couple bucks than its 1 cent face value? Thanks.

it is ever so slightly mis-aligned, but is within tolerances in my opinion. spend it as a penny.
Rest in Peace

to CCF. For a MAD to have a premium some of the design has to "fall off" the coin. Yours is just barely misaligned.Keep looking, there out there.Good luck.
