They probably called it a Sintered Planchet error, which it is not. For a definition of a Sintered Planchet click here:

Some people sell melted silver coins as native silver. They melt the silver coin over a bucket of water, it drops and cools into random shapes. If you try the process with clad coin, this is how they look.
