Picked up a $1 bill from the banco, the number on it is L55159551R. Is this something? I'm happy to spend it either way.

I did some searching for the answer. My research in this forum led to a link which explained fancy serial numbers.

According to it, this would be a bookend.

I don't know if it is worth a premium or just a spender so I'll let someone with more knowledge share that info.

That is a bookend. As far as a premium, that depends on the condition; but probably less than $10.
