Hi what do you think this 1915 S Barber dime would grade.
Also what is its estimated value, I bought it for $2.50 Australian.

Thanks

I am far from an expert still but I'd say it's about fine imo as long as those are not a bunch of scratches in front of the face, which would make it fine details imo. you've got a pretty decent liberty with partial band lines visible. the details in the head wreath are kind of weak though as well as on the corn kernels and leaf vein detail on the reverse. you also have almost no hair detail. 1915 s is supposed to be a well struck year so that leads me to my opinion. Still a nice coin. I'd pay what you paid all day long w/o a second thought, I'd try to get as many as I could in fact. I'd say it would go for $25-$30 on ebay probably. I like it. nice score! :)

Hi justin3651,
Thanks for the help. I am not sure if they are scratches it is hard to tell, if they are they are very fine scratches.

I thought the price was good, thats why I bought all my dealer had!

F15, even though the corn kernels are not quite there.

Thanks to you all it seems this coin would grade somewhere between F12 and F15. If only there was a F13 or a F14.
