Well its one I have been wanting for quite sometime and beer and ebay dont mix but I do have one in the mail..pending in hand verification.. I have no doubt the coin is legit. I will post a picture when she shows up I'm kinda excited about it.. Love all the coins of 1964 and short of a pointed dime and two cherry picker varietys I have almost everyone havent stumbled on a either accented hair coins yet.. But have a tdo and a DDO proof a couple 64d half errors so far plus the RPM coins the type C has been the unicorn until now.. Just wondering if anyone else has a type C this is why I hunt coins.. That needle in a stack of needles. I kinda cheated on the type C but I have looked at so many 64d quarters I think the I have silver blind now hahaha

I searched for previous posts on these coins and was amazed at the interest for them. I will post a pic of the coin when it shows up.

Thats the one!! isn't it cool... Internet research said in late 64 a new reverse die was sent to denver mint to run coins. So it was on purpose..and it was the one and only 1965 die to receive a mint mark. Have heard washy reverse dies can run around 750,000 coins average wish the real numbers were known I think its a awesome coin seen some pcgs graded ones in the 450-500 range I am enamoured
