I understand that the Lunar Silver Maple Leaf is a bullion, but what makes it numismatic?
I see some Lunars from the first serious that are going for a premium of a $100 over spot, and there's still so many people that they are willing to pay that amount , if not even more on ebay, to complete their sets.
I must admit that these are one of the most beautiful coins in my opinion.

so here's the question: if 30 years from now they are still collectible and people still chasing them as the premium at the same time goes higher, well they be considered as numismatics? what defines a coin to be titled as numismatic?
is it worth collecting them in your opinion?

30 years from now? No. There will be newer, more popular coins at the time but they will still be very popular in the coming few gears.
