If this post is in the wrong category please feel free to move it...So, I'm a member of several coin groups on Facebook, and this guy shows up as a new member and his first post he makes is a general warning to not buy any raw coins, and never buy from ebay simply because they are fakes. His next post a few minutes later really got my spidey sense tingling, which got my blood boiling a bit.......I hope I wasn't wrong......what is everyone's opinion on this?

Oh, wow! There are different tiers of membership and everything, and you sell things and recruit more members, and the money all flows to the top. I thought the classic pyramid scam was just a joke by now... I think there was even a Dilbert comic about "multi-level marketing".

Now this is professionalism (combined with the unfinished WordPress website):

First i,d like to say that this comp plan in my personal opinion is a breath of fresh air. There is no confusing bynary, legs to balance, and so on, just a very easy to understand and powerful pay structure.

So easy to understand that even the guy who can't spell "binary" can understand it?

Mmm... feel it. *creepy rubbing intensifies*

This guy looks like a classic scammer to me who's trying to edge in on the "poorly informed libertarian" niche. Too bad he's not willing to put in any effort

Yeah, I'm normally pretty calm, but when it comes to trying to prey on new collectors, it gets me a little worked up. That page has over 6000 members and is geared to helping each other out, not to scam anyone. Sure makes you appreciate how well this site is run and moderated!

A coin-themed MLM. How quaint. I'm handing out the pitchforks, guys.

But, but, if I read it on the internet it must be true?

Seriously folks, taking bullion investing advice from a Facebook post?

Exactly why I called him on it. There are way too many under-educated people on the subject of precious metals. It's not for the faint of heart if you have weak hands. Without a thorough understanding of at least the basic fundamentals and what drives the market you are going into it blindly. Combine cult-like promises by some "expert" that very few have heard of with MLM and it's guaranteed to fail for everyone except the guy on the top. In a perfect world we wouldn't have to worry about guys like him. Until then I guess all we can do is help the ones that need it. Thanks for the affirmation on this......when I was bickering with him I was hoping I wasn't making an error in judgement. Afterwards he went on with some name calling.....a real class act.
