How many coins are you talking about? There is always ebay. You could take them to a dealer but you won't get top dollar. Depending on the quality of the coins an auction house might sell them for you. Do you have any idea of what you have got?

How many coins? Are they all fully described? (ie, in separate envelopes or flips, with a piece of paper detailing everything about the coin) Can you post pictures of a sampling of the coins?

If you upload pictures here we can tell you what you have and approximately what each coin is worth. Once we have a better idea of what you have we can suggest if ebay or a dealer is your best option for selling. As your a new member you can't sell here directly and we can't buy from you but we can still help you out and keep an eye out for your coins on ebay if you do sell

Why are you having difficulty? Are they too large? There is an image optimiser on the reply screen, if you use the "Reply to Topic" at the top of the screen, not the bottom one.

That is the page for you to upload your photos, you can make them smaller and you can save the smaller file to your computer. The smaller file will have the same name as your original file but will add _opt to the filename. If you are still having difficulty post here again.

You wouldn't be able to PM yet. If you have access to a computer it should be easy to upload provided you keep it under 100K.

Jollyjim, don't worry, find your camera and try again, we are not going anywhere.
If you can, post each coin, or each photo of a batch of coins, in a different thread. It makes it easier for us to answer. Try and make sure that the photos are in focus, get in as close as you can so that we can give you an accurate description. For those coins that have ID, include the ID you have been given and we can confirm it for you. If you can, include a ruler or tape measure so we can have a guess at the size of the coin. Good luck.

A lot of people have trouble with iPads on here, I have one but it only gets used for surfing the web now, nothing else - good luck.
Another option would be hosting the pics on Photobucket or postimg.org etc then linking to here.
PMs can only be sent when a user has 50 posts (I think) so thats out.
