I would have said a 65 so a 66 is good in my opinion. And I doubt you would get a higher grade out of PCGS.

With a coin at this level, I want to see clearer images before offering any opinion. As the quality of the coin goes up, so does the required quality of the imagery necessary to grade it.

but from all we have to go on with the photos posted I think MS66 and a possible MS67 is correct, a sweet find in an old holder for sure, very clean cheeks and fields - a super Morgan!

I have a few PCGS MS67's in my collection, and trust me, this will not get there. Truly, MS65 is most likely these days. Had it been ten years ago, you may have gotten MS66.

I just had a Morgan come back graded MS-66, and it had more marks and field chatter compared to this one (Based on the pictures in the original post).

I think I am going to sell this one. I was hoping it might upgrade to a 67, but in hand it's a pretty nice 66.

I think it's a solid MS66 maybe a plus coin, but that little tick on the chin would probably keep it from any higher grade. Beauty of a Morgan though!!

That's quite a drop from a 66, I'm curious why you say AU?

Yeah, I had seen that. I mentioned it to the seller, and he said he would look into it. He never did anything with the listing.
