As many of you will know the 1985 is the hardest of all Rabbit Ear $1 coins to obtain. Some in the know have indicated that it is harder to obtain than a 2000 $1 mule and have also likened it's rarity to the 1922/1 overdate threepence.

Anyhow, I've decided to sell mine so if anyone is interested it's currently auction listed on ebay. I have quite a number of other $1 error coins listed at the moment also.

Here's the link to my 1985 Rabbit Ears in case you want this one.

Hi Unicorn, just checking out your items on ebay and noticed "2013 $1 Mob Of Roos Coin Rabbit Ears Cud One Dollar Coin Minting Error" (item number 251420884650) also has what appears to be a Cud on the third roo's tail. Wouldn't mentioning that add another level of attraction about the coin?

Just a thought ...

Good luck with the sale.
It will be interesting to see what it goes for. I think you might have a few people after it.

Thanks Awildeheart, Jpl & Ozcoins, fingers crossed.

I had another look at the 2013 and the 3rd roo tail is a Cud depression so it stayed on the die with that strike. It's common for the 2010 Rabbit Ears to leave a Cud around that spot, especially where the 3rd roo's tail joins the second roo. I had a look at the large 2010 I have listed and it has one there. Nicely spotted Awildeheart.
