Was about to bust this out of it's PCGS slab for my US Type Set when I noticed that it had a few unusual characteristics about it. Anyone have the ability to let me know what Snow variety this may be?

The word "UNITED" is doubled, maybe tripled and looks to have die cracks and chips in that location too. The eagle's upper wing is slightly doubled. Also the "57" is very slightly doubled. Lastly, on the reverse is a small die crack at 5:00 position.

Please see attached pictures. Thanks!

I suspect it's ' Machine Doubling'--it happens during the strike, and it's common on FE cents.
The clue here is the doubled digits in the date. If it were a doubled die, the date would not be affected.

Thanks!

Could that affect the mushy denticles at the "UNITED" as well? Still learning.....thanks again!

Another possibility is die deterioration--it looks like some of these marks surround the letters in the legend.
This is due to excessive die wear, where the letters slowly deteriorate. It might explain the mushy denticles too.
