I believe I got a real bargain. I got a 2003 Maple Leaf fractional silver hologram set for under $80, while other similar sets were listed on ebay for over $200. Am I missing something, or was it a great deal? It came in the wooden box and has the COA! Thanks in advance for any replies. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

They are all there. No one forced me to my max bid on ebay. I did expect to pay more.

Great deal, I've seen the hologram set for $150 at coin shows.

If the COA doesn't have letters in Chinese should be real.
Maybe you want to share the link with us.

Just because some sellers are listing it for $200 mean nothing. It is what the buyer is willing to pay for it that matters. I see people listing some items on ebay way out of wack what the going rate is. For example I see people asking $2400 - $2500 for the gold Superman coin when no one is paying over $2000 for it. I doubt the demand for this set is that high; so you could get a bargain price for it.

I like the set especially for that price. Nice presentation box and coins. They have been selling for about $130 and above.

That was a good find. I bought one last year for 13X.XX I forget. I like the presentation as well. But I don't care much for the coins, I didn't like the way they did the maple. I wanted the set to add to my maple collection.
At that price if you ever get bored of the set I'm sure you will do fine. ( unless there is some unforeseen event in where people all over the world decide not to collect Canadian coins any longer )
