I picked up 2 Seated Liberty coins this weekend. First up is this 1877 Dime. She's in a problem free PCGS holder.

Grade and comments welcome. I will reveal the grade on Tuesday. Thanks for looking!

What a looker. These are tough to grade; I've got it as a solid 64.

MS63...I do not think there is enough luster to call it 64...what an sweet looking dime that is

looks like a type II reverse from what I can tell and I am trying to discern if that is a die crack on the reverse running from the lower left wreath into the denticles above. Are there any other significant die cracks that the photos do not highlight? There are plenty of cracked dies on the type II and the year issue overall. Its a deep year for attribution study due to 44 obverse and 37 reverse dies being used. Your die cracks make it an exciting coin for me to drool and gaze over...awesome

Good point. The left half of the reverse exhibits slight strike weakness, it's not wear and didn't hurt it much.

Thanks to all for the comments. I'll post the grade tomorrow.
