George A. Romero said he will not make another "Living Dead" movie until it is not the flavor of the month. "The Walking Dead" is too much of a POP culture thing.

I like 'em. But I'm about as far away from being a coin snob as one can get, so that's no surprise. Last week I actually bought the one you have pictured. The Zombucks Walker continues to elude me. It regularly sells for around $38, quite a bit above what one would pay for a regular SAE or SML, which is pretty good for "junk".
But to answer your question, the rounds are American made, I believe by Provident Metals.

I think they are garbage as well, this is a theme played out and beaten to death.
I even got tired of playing Zombies online for Call of Duty. Enough with the zombie stuff.

What I don't like about those is the fact that they say the wrong date. How can they say 2017 if its not 2017 yet and how do they even know that an apocalypse will happen in that year.

Exactly, if you are going to predict the apocalypse pick a time far enough in the future that you will not be alive to get yelled at for being wrong.

They also have them in copper, rounds to further drive the PM snobbish crazy! They sell very well at gun shows as the preppers have bought in to the sillyness that people will be using gold, silver and copper to barter for items. Most people wouldn't be able to tell real gold or silver after the collapse, nor would there be any means of setting a value for the amount of PM swapped. As in the collapse in Argentina in the 90's people laughed at people that wanted to trade gold and silver for goods services! They are strictly for fun, and most people buy one or two not tubes filled with them. As scrap copper or spools of copper wire are a better investment in the event of a collapse. Here are two of the latest: AS to the year at the rate our government is operating 2017 may not being far off!

I like them too, but they are total novelty. I guess I'm not much of a coin snob either. :)
I actually just get the copper rounds which look good. It doesn't require much of an investment and they are fun to look at. I'm sure they won't appreciate in value but they're fun to collect and don't break the bank. I read that it's supposed to be a 10 coin series.

Here is the latest release for you nickel lovers Quote: I think they are garbage as well, this is a theme played out and beaten to death. One person's opinion, but at least Provident is trying. Something the Mint has no desire to do. HERE is an article by David Harper , on the necessity of Govt. and third party mints to get a younger generation excited about coins and collecting, lest this great hobby dies with us " crusty old men "

If you asked me, they completely destroyed a great classic design! If they do a St. Gaudens design I am going to freak out!

Quote: They sell very well at gun shows as the preppers have bought in to the sillyness that people will be using gold, silver and copper to barter for items. 3 Words... "Strategic Oil Reserve"! The powers that be have been for a very long time and will not give up easily. If anyone thinks the "Collapse" will happen over night... Thursday - cub scout meeting... Friday - eating grubs from under a rock with a machete on your hip and a Mad Max rig thundering down the deserted streets of major cities. Never gonna happen. Another thing about barter, I read something when I was a kid that explained how Barter was something that was done in ancient times and is not used today. At the time my Dad was running his own auto shop. I have no idea how many cars he got as payment, He had someone build a closet in an un-finished basement that he had for work on the guys vehicle. The fact is Barter happens all the time. If we ever end up in a Mad Max situation there will be places like "Barter Town". With scales and assay officers and maybe even their own local currency and forge/mint facilities. It's not like switching off a light, so buying 1 ounce of copper at $3-$6 so you can make change for a Zombuck Morgue Anna is a bit insane. It's a novelty, Love it or Loathe it. As a Nickel Nut I'd love to have the Zombuff, flat-out hilarious.
