I got about 300 pennies given to me, 50% are 1969 and older including some wheats, in the mix there are about 40 or more with some really nice variety and errors, single, double and triple hang, DDO and DDR, nsf and sf etc. Lot's of these are BU, but only partial lol. Sat in a cup for years and at some point they got some surface gunk, green, and surface water stains. Is it worth trying to let peroxide remove the mess on them. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'd use 100% pure acetone, not peroxide.

Hi Funny, I never new acetone works on pennies. I do have a container of pure, I'll be startin the clean tonight on a few, thanks.
