Any chance that PCGS would grade it at MS66+ ? I strongly feel like this coin is a solid MS67 and hopefully PCGS will realize that.

If you submitted it raw they might. But seriously, how did you specify the crossover? With no minimum grade listed on the submission form it defaults to the current grade on the holder leaving no chance for a 66+.

You do realize if your coin crosses at at any grade then PCGS charges a Guarantee Premium based on the value of the coin? The Guarantee Premium is equal to 1% of the value of the coin in its final grade. The value of the coin is determined as the higher of the Declared Value or the PCGS Price Guide value for that grade.

In this case if your coin graded MS66RD you would be surcharged $46 (1% of $4600) but I assume you established a declared value of at least $5,000. Not trying to rain on your parade here, just making sure you know.

I would have left it in the NGC slab.

I do understand all of those things, I would really like to see this coin crossover to PCGS MS67! Hopefully one day it will, I would even be willing to take a MS66+ grade! Hoepfully it doesn't get Questionable Color again...
