Just wanted to know if the notes with uneven serial numbers are worth to keep? I found a couple of the notes which the last two numbers are lower than the rest of the numbers. Are they worth anything?

And another question! My gf who works in a bank helped me exchanged two very crisp $100 Star Notes from 1969 series C, and they are in sequential numbers. How much are they worth and should I grade them?

Thanks!

Luckyrollers:

depending on the Issuing Bank, my resource (Friedberg & Friedberg, 2006: United States Paper Money) lists 1969C $100 star notes ranging from 125-135 in VF-20; from 150-175 in EF-40; and from 350-400 in uncirculated condition.

These are retail prices and likely are not really current. You might search ebay for recent successful auctions. If you want to maximize your profit here, you may want to list them on ebay as a set of consecutive serial numbered star notes.

As for "uneven serial numbers"...without a picture to see what you really have, it is difficult to give advice, but my gut response is that they likely have little value. Someone with more insight or experience might come along with a more informed opinion.!
