raybutler Valued Member United States 96 Posts	Posted 01/16/2014 12:02 pm I am learning of the differences in the U.S. and British grading systems and so far it seems the British system grades coins lower than the U.S. system. This could end up being an expensive lesson. I have this 1757 6 pence that I got for $50 U.S., What grade/value would you assign it? Thank you in advance, Report this Post to the Staff

RE: George II/III... it seems like those (can) go for a lot more than they used to. Not ALWAYS (can be hit or miss, from my casual observation)... but on the whole they can fetch more then they used to, considering they are common, as you said. You can add the plentiful 1696/97 Association salvage shillings and 6d to that, too... Report this Post to the Staff
