Kookoox it is AND I ment to include that pic dagum... It was on the top of the photo proof BUT at the LCS that was the PUP I used to determine it.. Yes indeed its the left to right weakens strike I ment to include a pic of the mint mark also for coop.. Lets just say this find was as awesome I was shaky and nervous!! Lol like buck fever...coin fever!! This has been a major variety search for me!!

Agreed that the first photo shows a true 1970-S LMC small date ... however the 3rd photo is a large date.

Assume your coin is the initial photo.

If so ... congratulations.

Too bad about all the dings--but it's pretty common for 70 mint sets.

Nickel searcher.. It was a pic from my last failed post.. I reposted to show a large date this coin has been as hard to find as a AHK half perhaps this is a sign the accented hair will be mine soon hahaha I literally feel complete now!! What a pain to wrangle coulda cheated on ebay but this is cooler

Iknerr, yes indeed!! I will hopefully find a complete 1970 s proof set some day!! I still love to search for them!! But its my first one and so I took that mint set and my large date mint set and sealed them together in a cello holder until some other day, I took a usmint "penny" token out of a 90's mint set and it filled the slot in my dansco lincoln until the day I find or buy a second. That coin will hold the spot!! I'm still excited I have one!!
