This was a purchase last month. It's an MS 65 in a PCGS green holder and I'm reluctant to crack it out and put into my album. A tough coin none the less and I now have seven short of the type set.

Nice job . Looks to be the ultra-rare Walking Liberty half dollar obverse variety

Lovely Antietam reverse indeed ... suggest that you correct the obverse photo.

Looking forward to viewing both sides of this stunning coin.

VERY nice coin! The devices and fields all look wonderfully clean.

If it were my coin, I wouldn't be cracking it out to place it in an album. I might submit it for a grade reconsideration, however, as you might do better with current standards.

Congrats on the purchase and getting one step closer to completing your type set!

Please to learn that is the one you selected muddler ... very clean coin.

Concur that with today's grading standards this beauty has a shot at an upgrade if re-submitted.

Best of wishes for acquiring the final seven for the set.

Why would you want to crack it out? You paid for a MS65, IMO, I would leave it and never crack that beauty out.

It is still in the pcgs holder but there is that looming hole in the album.

Wow, very nice example. Looks like a 66 coin to me, I don't see any distracting marks!

You know how I feel about holes in albums... and slabs in general.

But, you have to make your own choices.
