pauldine1 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 01/20/2014 11:36 am We recently acquired two silver coins/tokens. They measure just over 1 1/2 inches in diameter and weigh 43.2 grams each. There is a set of hallmarks on the side of each, which leads us to believe they were minted in a different country, such as Great Britain. Babar Valued Member Pakistan 207 Posts	Posted 01/20/2014 1:50 pm The first one is commemorating Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman. The second is dated 1980/1401, but my arabic is a bit too weak to understand what is written underneath. Seems to be "Servant of the Nation the tenth"? What is on the other side? ASLAN TVorlon Pillar of the Community United States 1234 Posts	Posted 01/20/2014 2:10 pm Well spotted Babar, you beat me to the dates by 7 minutes, I just checked my Krause and there are coins from Oman with that same double sailed ship.
