Hello! Does anyone know the release date for the 2014 P/D Cent? I just bought a 2014-S Proof pre sale on ebay, was wondering how far behind the others are being released? |

They are probably already out, they just haven't worked their way through the Fed distribution system yet. Usually reports of first found start showing up around the end of January.

Found my first 2014-P Lincoln cents yesterday, 2/06/2014. I got them in change from a local Wal-mart. Went to all the banks in the area and none of them had any rolls of them. I guess Wal-mart gets first dibs around here in the Florida Panhandle. I have a photo, but I have forgotten how to add one. |

Not sure but in the last few weeks I have seen some shiny penny stacks in teller trays and asked if they were 2014's but they were all 2013's.
In the last 3 weeks I have gotten 2 boxes of solid 2013. I guess Loomis is cleaning house to make room for the 2014's soon.

I doubt Loomis knows or cares what the dates are for their rolled coin. It's not like there is anything different or special about the current year's coins.

I was curious about this same thing. Can't wait to try to get my hands on one. I wont be at a bank for a while because I'm at school and just use my card. Hopefully theres still some beauties out there!
