I found this in my change today and had a good laugh. I've never found a counter stamped coin in circulation before. I'm not sure what the significance of this stamp is? does anyone know what it means or why it was done?

That's awesome! I've never seen one on a loonie.

Keeper for sure. Doubt it has any significance though.

I'm guilty of stamping loonies for kicks - but I didn't stamp yours!

I stamp nickels with the end of a square tipped screwdriver and wait to see them again so if you ever see one you know its out of Ontario.

I usually went with "A" or, if the mood struck me, a full incoherent phrase. Look out for such gems as "DON'T ARREST ME".
