Ok, I only paid $0.75 for it, shipped. But don't tape it to a piece of scrap paper. With the tape directly on the coin. No matter how little my coins sell for (shipping included), I always respect the coin and put in a 2x2 and safely secure it.

A pet peeve of mine.

Sad to hear that.
Its amazing what people do to coins.
Once at my LCS a woman brought in her father's collection of canadian coins and they were all taped to the pages of a coin catalog from the 50s its worse cause he was a collector.
Feel free to call me Will.

That is not good at all. Happens quite often. Shouldn't, but does.

I can't imagine ever sending any coin in anything less than a 2x2 or flip. Very disappointing.

And that is worse than the tape because very frequently the envelope arrives but the coins have torn through it and gone by-by. I got one once with 49% of the coin sticking out of the side of the envelope.
