The moment that you stop looking for something, is the moment that opportunity answers the door.

I have been through several 20+ straight box skunk streaks last year.

Last January silver fell off in my area until May.

Last December I had to cut back my 14 boxes a week to 10 boxes a week due to losing a much needed dump bank.

I was ready to scale it back again this month January due to last years pattern and then I go and score 202 40%ers and 10 90% in 8 boxes the first week.

You snooze you lose.

You have to be in it to win it.

I'm new to coin collecting in general, but finds like this should keep you encouraged.
I am especially liking the two Eisenhower dollars in that shot.

Do most banks have only 1 "Associate" (I assume they mean Head Teller) that deals with coins in the vault? I called to see if I could pick-up more halves and they told me that they've got them in stock, but today is the day off for the associate that handles them... is this the norm?

I've gotten that at a bank before, I believe it was a Chase bank, but most banks I deal with just have to get two people to go to the vault together to retrieve the coins.

I stumbled on this last night and since I just sold my truck the day before I decided to try it out.

I was on a mission.

I went to 2 casinos here in town and none of them wanted to give me more than 100 worth. I ended up getting 150 worth from them altogether I then hit up my bank and they only had 3 rolls, but I could order and they would have them in 4 days for me. So I went ahead and ordered 1 case (500 worth) later realizing that I should of ordered 4 cases.

I still had paper cash so I went to wells fargo, big mistake. The teller wouldn't even give me change unless I had an account, I told him I use to and I closed it because of things just like that about the bank. He still persisted on trying to get me to open an account, I think they hire the dumbest tellers ever.

So then I went to US Bank about a mile away and they only had 2 rolls total, The teller said they don't usually have them But they did have a case of dollar coins. I was so excited I forgot to say I only wanted silver. I got 800 worth and went on back home.

I started to open the halves with my daughter she's 3 and had alot of fun but I got skunked with the halves.

We opened the dollars there were a ton of presidential and sacagawea's a few susan b's. It was fun telling her about the presidents and such, But a rookie mistake for sure.

I will call my bank in the morning and ask them to order an addition 3 cases of halves. I will try this a few more times. Its fun and keeps me from playing apps on my phone. If I get any silver I will be hooked.
