Can anyone tell me if this coin is silver? It is not marked as such anywhere on the coin. It is a little bigger than a quater and also a little bit thicker with no reeding.

I got it last year at the CSNS show when I paid for my early bird pass. I just realized it was made for the following year.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Kris

It is likely made of aluminum or some other base white metal; I highly doubt it is silver. I've seen a number of them sell for $3 to $4 on ebay.

Thank you. After I posted I saw one listed on ebay that has not sold. Unfortunately he does not state what it is. I can tell it is not just aluminum because it has some weight to it. I figured they would not waste the money on silver but I had to ask. I paid $70 to get into the show early just so I could get a coin I had graded by PCGS labeled correctly, they accidentally sent it to me in the wrong holder (non secure) and I did not trust sending a $5,000 coin in the mail again. Luckily they were able to put it into the secure holder for me by the following day.
