Is it Ok to publish our blocked ebay buyers?

I'm sure you sellers have had the hard ball buyers... and despite all your efforts to satisfy them you feel they were going to nail you hard.

I'm here to ask for help from sellers around the world. Please. Give me all the ones you blocked and so I can protect myself from further pain and suffering.

Can we begin a thread of blocked buyers?

I feel leery about publishing my list for all to see for a couple reasons, like possibly listing someone on this forum, but more importantly legal/other issues that I don't know about or haven't previously thought of.

BTW, I tried to email you my list, but you are not receiving emails from other members. It's not that extensive anyway, and it includes bad buyers from my wife's book selling as well.

Update: This isn't the same exact thing as my first point above, but it shows how easy it is cross paths in ebay and CCF. (Have to go down a couple responses in the linked thread.)

Theres a discouraged seller thread so I dont see why you couldnt name problem buyers. Individual ones in the past have been named before in specific examples to warn others. I dont recall those threads ever being removed

I'm a blocked buyer. One seller canceled my auction win after I paid saying the coin was out of stock, opps sorry. He re-listed the coin two days later. The other seller canceled the auction after I won and paid, saying the was an error in his listing. He had the same auction re-listed, word for word picture for picture, before I got his message that he wasn't honoring the sale.
Just saying - being on a blocked list doesn't mean you were in the wrong.

I see both sides here, I'm actually blocked by asyn for simply returning an item! (the one and only purchase made there!) At the same time, I just read Canadian_coins horror story on the other thread...

Mistakes do happen, for example: shipping the wrong coin or forgetting a coin in multiple purchases etc. I.e. Things that could be avoided and that are clearly as a result of the seller's fault.

These have rarely occurred in my case and my buyers understood the situation. But what I experienced yesterday illustrates the worst possible scenario. At least ebay acknowledged the fact that I tried all I could to make up for the mishap and in the event of a negative feedback it would have been removed.

Like many sellers on ebay I don't do this for a living and I certainly do not need this kind of abuse. Just by the way he communicated you can see this is a problem buyer, and will not seek amicable resolutions in all kinds of other potential situations. Those are the kind of buyers I want blocked. They are more than welcomed to shop elsewhere - but sellers beware.

I too am on little Debbie's fun stuff list, it happened when I was a newbie. I don't know what I did back then. How ever, I would be interested if anyone wants to pm me about their truly difficult buyers, not interested if its small things like bid retractions or asking questions. Thank you.

might as well cause eBays' sweepin em under the rug. I just had a high bidder never pay or even respond his feedback was 0 when he bid but went to 1 shortly after so I thought he'd be fine.opened an unpaid item case and got my fees refunded after days now ebay wont let me leave feedback at all his feedback is now 8 so he's bidding wildly and then picks n chooses what he pays for iambrianhelms2013 bids but may or may not pay

I think publishing a list of blocked buyers should be no problem. as it is the ebay id and not necessarily a CCF member name.
If a blocked buyer is a member of ccf and identifies them self as such, then that is their issue, not yours.
A list of blocked buyers with a short note of WHY they are blocked would be more helpful.

If a buyer tries to blackmail me with my seller's credibility on ebay I take a very strong action against this type of behavior!

Two people in a bit over 3 years I have encountered that have done this. Both with a feedback score of under 20 if I remember correctly.

I am against a shame list! That is my vote!
