Hey All

I have a new eBayer Registered in Brazil that just bid on one of my items. He joined ebay the day before I listed. I always check with new eBayers if they bid and I haven't had a response yet.

Should I be worried? I won't accept PayPal from internationals but I will take BidPay.

Would it be unfair to cancel his bid towards the end of the auction if he doesn't respond?

thanks

If he doesn't respond, I'd cancel his bid. The last thing you need is an International problem. If he's new, he may not realize that you don't take Paypal for International purchases. There are also a million other things he may not know. I wouldn't wait until the end of the auction, though. I'd give him 24 hours to respond, then I'd cancel the bid. I know this sounds harsh, but this could be a big problem in the making.

Be sure to emphasize in the body of your ebay advertisement and under payment methods that you do not accept PayPal from international bidders. Also may consider only bidders with 5-10 positive feedbacks will be accepted. Depends on the value of your item.
