By the level of silver debasement probably dating from Gallienus at earliest. The early coins of Gallienus had a reasonable amount of silver. By the mid way point of the reign(s) (AD253-268) the currency system totally collapsed. Most surprising is that Gallienus was able to hang on for a total 15 years ! No one since Septimius had managed that. And if you factor in the irritation the soldiers must have had on pay day ! I can only imagine the expletives deleted that went around the camp. And this would have been trickle down too. The soldiers getting payed means also the tavern owners the tailors the barbers the 'ladies' and every sort of person to conduct business in places where soldiers are found. They all must have said time and again on receiving the piece of silver. "What the heck is this supposed to be ...... some kind of a joke ?"

By the level of 'weak chin/overbite' and over sized Adams' apple ...... Almost certainly Gallienus

How he ever managed to appease the 'mob' is beyond me !
