Lovely kreuzer. I always wonder how these get mixed up with cents - but then, they are worth 1/100 of a gulden! Fascinating find, I'd much rather pull this out of a roll than an IHC, even if the latter costs more.

When I was nalaberong's age and a bit older, I collected those 1k's by date because they were ubiquitous in local dealers' bargain boxes and because they were exactly the same size as a Lincoln Cent, which meant I could use a Whitman folder to display them. I did the same thing with the cent-size ornate coppers of several other European countries.
Alas that early collecting effort vanished several decades ago in a fund raising spree along with all my other non-USA coins. I often wonder what became of those albums, and if the new owner kept them intact.
