After a while it's a numbers game. Every one of us, no matter how professional, is going to run into a "winner" eventually. Nothing we can do about it but try to minimize our risk by doing the best we can on a daily basis. Glad you will still have 100% positive feedback. Keep up the good work! This forum is great to vent about stuff

edit: after reading arianzo's post again, that's what stinks about ebay is the ability for a bad guy to pop up tomorrow with a different username.

Well, I always enjoyed Whack-A-Mole anyway.

I hadn't attempted to block him until right NOW. However, it DID show that I had successfully added him to my blocked bidder list, so I'm not sure why arianzo could not....?

Hmmm maybe because I use ebay.ca and you ebay.com? Do we need to block the buyer only where the buyer is registered?

He hasn't responded to my email for a refund and a free coin and he hasn't returned my calls....so...my follow-up comments on ebay's feedback system go like this:

On the negative feedback he left for me I wrote: "Mean or ignorant? Malicious feedback OR didn't read description? ebay advised."

On the positive feedback I initially left for him I wrote a follow up feedback which reads: "Left inappropriate feedback for me. Reported him 2 ebay. Contact me for details."

Bah. I doubt either will accomplish anything, but it felt better than just sitting here wounded.

He's had 5 since the time I realized he negged me. Hasn't received any more since then and doesn't appear to have bid on anything since then.

He's actually been registered on ebay since 12/25/2011, but does not appear to have purchased or sold anything until January 2014. It just has a "funny" feel to it. Like he had an axe to grind with me, so he buys a coin from me and a couple other coins from someone else and also a couple non-coin things. Then he negs me and gives positives to everyone else. To paranoid little old me, it just feels like those other purchases were only to give the look of legitimacy to what he did to me.

If he doesn't respond to those two feedback follow ups I zinged him with, it'll just add more fuel to my fire.
