Currently for sale by "centsles" on ebay. What will it end up selling for?

The current list price for a MS-60 on Numismedia is $30,310 (This coin has been "repaired").

Bad choice, to sell it on ebay. Won't get the attention it deserves. Would have done much better at an auction house. I'm guessing around $8,000 and no more than $11,000.

Im guessing 10-14 range probably. He sold a basement slabber ms 61 in November for just over 12k and someone else sold a PCGS AU repaired one in December for basically 9k.

This one looks better than the basement slabbed on back in November, but I'm honestly not sure how many people collect these.

Considering this scratched piece just sold for $8250? http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?hdnJu...086710867099

I'd be shocked if that repaired MS Details piece brings over $10k.

I'm still getting over the 'shock' that he didn't put in one of his NNC MS-67 holders.

I know, right?

I think the sheer rarity and sophistication of the audience for this one stayed his hand. He's not dumb.

I'll play. I think the NGC holder will give the coin credibility and will land in the around $18,000. I predict someone will buy it, crack it out and either basement slab it or try to sell it raw as MS.

I'm really surprised they didn't put in an NNC holder. I looked through some of their listings and it looks like they are downplaying the NNC grading service.

With all of this seller's issues, I think it wouldn't make 10k. With all of their negative feedback, it would be foolish to overpay on this.

Can anyone see the repair in the pictures?

He states in his listing that the repair might be by the AT in states.

I was thinking it would sell around $12,000

I think It'd bring 8k... But you really have to watch with Centsles

I've bought a few coins he gets graded by NNC.. and sent them to NGC and much lower.
cleaned. stuff like that.

but, I also bought a au58 NNC graded 1823 Half... NGC gave it a ms61 Holder.

Be VERY Careful With CENTSLESS!!!

I see what I suspect to be a repaired rim ding - pushed out and re-denticled - by the second T.

wow he lost two-thirds of price guide over a repaired denticle? Would this have gone for more on HA or Great Collections? For maybe closer to 17,500?

I agree, I think he would have done better at auction.

The damage isn't very noticeable.
