Hello,
I am New to the ATB proof silver sets and I am wondering. When did the first ATB Quarters come out? From what I have Read it was 2010. I would like to collect each set until the program ends.

Thanks for all the help, This is an outstanding community.

Edit...

I just noticed the link in the letters ATB. Mods, You can delete this thread if you would like.

You are correct, 2010 was the first year of the ATB Quarters. They will continue, five per year, until 2021.

Great series for the new collector.

Thanks for the welcome Denco. Main reason I'm starting with These sets is they are fairly new and the prior sets are not too expensive.

Why just the ATB Quarters, might as well get the state silver quarters too. Then maybe 1992 s to 1998 s, once your hooked there is always more to collect.

jcoins, the ATBs are great way to start. And you are correct in that they are not terribly expensive. The silver aside that is. Obviously, silver proofs are going to be more.

I would suggest getting the Dansco ATB album with proofs. With all four coins, P, D and both proofs, look great together. Once you get that caught up, you cn work backwards on the State Quarters.

Welcome! I'm a modern silver quarter collector too, and dimes, halves and Ikes too. I choose modern silver coins because I like pretty, uncirculated silver coins and modern is all I can afford in that grade.

The others are correct, once you get all the ATBs to date you won't stop there. The state, territories and the plain Washingtons are all beautiful in silver proof form and with careful shopping can be obtained very reasonable.

And possibly until 2032.

I have been looking into doing a set of proof sets for a while now. The only problem is I have too many other sets started.

They can restart the series at the conclusion if the powers that be want too when it ends which would push it until 2032. If they cant come up with a new idea look for that to get a 2nd go around especially if theyre still making money off the 5 oz pucks

rupester, I am back to 55. Those last 4 are hard to come by in OGP and expensive.

I have the '92 to'98 s sets with a few doubles. I have the presentation sets, and they are beautiful. The new quarter sets have such flour white proof surfaces they are really beautiful to look at. I just buy my set every year. Only one set with a bad coin in five years is amazing.
