If you hurry, I think you can still subscribe to save 10%.
Here's a link:
http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...rtNumber=MV1My order changed from backordered until 5/13 to in stock. Hopefully they will ship today. Wish they handled them like new movies and video games and shipped so they arrived on release day. Edited by OldSkoolMadSkilz 04/29/2014 11:02 am

I hope the set doesn't have many of the quality control issues that seem to have become an epidemic at the Mint...

Mine are in stock and reserved...nice. I ordered 2 so with the 10% off, I'm "saving" about $5.50 after shipping. I'll take it!

Are you talking about coin quality issues or packaging issues? Or both? I've had some minor issues with packaging but the coin quality has been good.

The 2013/2014 sets I had to return were Quality issues sad to say.

The only issues I have had with the actual coins have been minor. Nothing I sent back was atrocious, just not up to my standards. The only real issue I know of is the LE proof set, and that was mainly packaging. Once people heeded my advice and started opening the cases it became apparent it was not the coins they were seeing issues with.
All that to say, I have no worries that my sets will be as they always have. Just fine.

There needs to be a higher standard for proof coins at the Mint. These are the best quality coins the US mint has to offer and their quality control is suspect. The recent problems with the 2013 Silver LE set are inexcusable. Most problem were with the packaging, but many issues with the coins were noted in that thread. Since the 2014 Annual Silver Proof sets don't have a 'new' packaging design, it should not suffer the same issues the packaging on the LE set has.

Nor do I. Looking forward to having these in hand shortly. Quote: Wish they handled them like new movies and video games and shipped so they arrived on release day. Interesting idea.

Ordered mine about 3 hours after they went on sale and it says in stock and reserved. The quality of my silver proof sets have always been good, so I don't expect any issues with this set also. I am waiting for some sort of announcement on A LE Kennedy half set for the 50 year Anniversary of the introduction. That would be A nice set I think.

Nothing yet; perhaps they'll come today. I so want to get a look at those silver ATB beauties.

At one time mine said expected to ship 5/13, then changed to reserved. Don't know which is better.
